Lunasco ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Chumob mobile application ("App") and chumob.net. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
You can use the App without creating an account. Depending on how you use it, we may collect device and usage information.
- Device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings
- Approximate country or region and device identifiers
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
- Features accessed, stories or audio content played, session duration, and app interactions
Usage information may be anonymous or aggregated. Device identifiers and other technical information may still be considered personal information under applicable law.
Subscription Information
Subscription payments are processed by the relevant app marketplace. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements. We do not collect or store your payment card information.
Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not require an account. We do not intentionally collect the following information unless you voluntarily provide it when contacting support:
- Name, home address, phone number, or password
- Payment card information or precise location
- Contacts, photos, camera images, or microphone recordings
If you use the website contact form or contact support, you may provide your first and last name, email address, message, and any other information you choose to include.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide and maintain the App and deliver bedtime stories, meditation, and audio content
- Manage subscriptions
- Improve performance and reliability, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs
- Understand feature usage and respond to support requests
- Protect against fraud, abuse, or misuse and comply with legal obligations
Third-Party Services
The services described in our app privacy practices include:
- Google Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and cloud messaging
- RevenueCat for subscription management
- Google Play Billing and Apple In-App Purchases
- Google Cloud Platform
These providers may process limited information under their own privacy policies. The website also loads third-party Wix resources for its layout, images, and functionality. Requests to these services may disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Depending on the deployed configuration, these services may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect functionality.
Children’s Privacy
Chumob is designed for families and young children and should be used under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Parents and guardians should handle support requests and purchases. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact ask@chumob.net. We will investigate and, where appropriate, delete the information promptly.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the App may send reminders, updates, and related information. You can disable notifications through your device settings.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of electronic storage or Internet transmission is completely secure.
Data Retention
We retain information only as long as needed to provide and improve services, maintain subscriptions, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Anonymous or aggregated analytics may be retained longer to help improve the App.
Data Deletion Requests
To request deletion of personal information, including support communications or subscription-related information where applicable, email ask@chumob.net. We will review your request and respond within 30 days, subject to applicable legal requirements. We may retain records where required or permitted for legal, accounting, fraud prevention, security, or regulatory purposes. If we cannot identify information associated with your request, we will let you know.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact ask@chumob.net. We may need information to verify your request.
International Users
Information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Applicable privacy laws may differ between countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards must be used for international transfers.
